USX is selling out in two big ways. First, we've sold out of our advance LPs. Not to fear- a big pressing is underway. This means the whole thing will very soon be available on CD baby and Itunes and all that jazz. If you havn't heard it yet, and you like us already, you're gonna dig it. If you didn't like us before (then why are you reading this) you won't like us now. Second, two new songs are being featured on Ralph Lauren's Rugby.com. I've never been much for corporate endorsements but these days, w no real music industry to pave the way, we'll take all the breaks we can get. Like my big freind Kevin O is fond of saying-"Boy, when you sell out you really sell out". For those of you that came here looking for the songs you heard at Rugby.com, please give us a week or two and we'll have them available.

The Midwest Xpress tour went off w/out a hitch! Well, except our Dayton show being hi-jacked by a bunch grindcore bands and their leigons of uni-dimensional followers. We bailed and got some much needed rest at the Motel 6 after watching some old movies. Quiet moments like that on a 10 date marathon can be like an oasis in the middle of ...bluriness. We enjoyed so much hospitality from so many who will be named only in email. One of the finer evenings was our Cincinatti show with the Vibrolas. whom we first witnessed in Austin. They're incredible. Later we had an impromtu motel bash w them and rocked it til the wee hours. We rocked to the wee hours almost everynight but like I said, It's all a blur. Thanks to all our friends- new and old.

SXSW- The founders of the Heart of Texas Rock Fest must had recently harvested their blueberry kush hybrid when they listened to our CD and invited us down to SXSW in Austin, TX in March. We had the time of our lives thanks to freinds Cathy B and Jeff Stockton who put up w/ our shenanigans for 4 days while we drank, rocked, drank, rocked again, drank more, fell in love with the Vibrolas, drank more and were finally run out of town Sat. after Jim's friend, Mr. Grabby Hands joined us at the Yellow Rose. If you like music, friendly folks and bar crawls you should get yer fanny down to SXSW next year. See ya'll there! We'll be releasing an LP and touring to support it this summer.

GAFFY'S BACK! A lot has gone on in recent months. In November Dave Mendez abrubtly left the group as we were preparing to return to the studio to finish our LP. Dave was a skillful drummer and a real character. He raised the bar as with his penchant for scrutiny but in the end, Dave wanted something else. We wish him luck. Fortunately for us our original drummer and madman, Myq Gaffey, had recently returned from a 2 year strecth in Albany sporting a Christ-like look. Aprapoe in this case for his big comeback.

In October we hit road and played visited Clevland, played 2 shows in Detroit and one in Cincinatti. We had a blast and made many new friends, especially in Detroit where we received the biggest draws both nights. We'll be going back in May or June when we finally complete the LP. It will be worth the wait. Meanwhile we have 2 big shows coming up here in NYC, an industry showcase in Harrisburg PA, and a show in Austin TX during SXSW. Let the good times roll!

Congrats to David and Jenn Mendez on their nuptials! For anyone who has checked recently we apologize for the heap of web trouble we've experienced this summer. I think we have the bugs worked out. Toronto (NXNE) was a lot of fun and we scared the Canadians back into Saskatchewan. We've got half of a forthcoming full length recorded and some great new material we're finishing up. We'll continue to debut new stuff at shows. We won't be playing much locally in the coming months so catch us while you can!.

THanks to all for a successful resurfacing. By the reaction, it seems like we're doing something right! Now dig this-- We charted online in the genre. What this means? We're not quite sure. Independent music online seems a lot the old West. Legends and myths are abundant and a hand full of people are writing the rules as they go. More power to 'em! Anyway check it out- #81 up from 141.
